We had a big weekend. On Saturday we went to the Cedar Hill Farm's Pumpkin patch with Buck's Friend Charlie and could not have had more fun. There were Pony rides (Theodore's Favorite)Pig races, a chicken show, a petting zoo (Theodore got his hand bitten by a donkey) a "train" ride, and a hay ride to a field of Pumpkins (Bucks fave). There were lots of other activities too that we passed on like a corn maze - no i would have seriously lost the kids for good. And the best part Funnel cake for Momma - loved every bite!
On Sunday we had our annual Pumpking Carving get together and it was awesome. No one carved this year - the kids painted and stickered their pumpkins. It worked out great and no sharp objects were running around the backyard.
This week Buck has a trip to the pumpkin patch with his Preschool Class and then 1 costume party and a birthday party on Saturday. Next week will be filled with Parents Day out and Preschool halloween parties, a fall carnival and trick or treats- whew - it is going to be busy. I never broke out my camera for the pumpkin party but did get some good pics at the Pumpkin patch!

School Days
Its Back to Preschool for the boys! This year Theodore will be at the same school as Buck. They were so excited to meet their new teachers and I was excited that Buck was successfully Potty trained by the schools deadline. How I did this was cruel and bitter - I would drive him by the school and not let him go in until he stopped wearing diapers. He loves school so much it worked! Now on to Hi T, he wants to potty so bad, i just need to find the time.
They love their classes and are having fun painting, going on "bear hunts', going to spanish and music and even Yoga! Yes - Buck's class does Yoga one a week - I love it! The boys are growing up so fast - enjoy these shots of them on their first few days of school.

It's June?!?!?!
Wow, I cannot believe my last post was in April and now it is June! Time is going by so fast. We are having a good time and staying VERY busy. We lost our camera for a few weeks but it surfaced in one of our many Diaper bags - hooray! In the last two months we have been staying outside as much as we can, as well as going to the farmers markets, musuems, ice cream "stations" etc. We also had a great visit with family over memorial day weekend. These boys have the summer bug and are go go go. Here are some random pics from the last few weeks.

Spring Fever
Its has been like summer here already and the boys have Spring Fever! We have been eating
Popsicles and gardening at home. The boys have really had a fun time with that, even if HI T looks maniacal with a grape Popsicle. Buck has been a real big helper with his dada, following him everywhere and pitching in on yardwork. His new found love is worm hunting, he is very good at it and torments me with the wiggly ones.
This Weekend we spent Sunday at the Farm to see The Pennel's, Cousin Kate and the New House. We had so much fun! Theodore explored every nook and cranny while Buck and Kate went fishing. We had a pre lunch gator ride that everyone love, Buck loves to "farm the gator" (drive the gator). We got some great pics.

Trip to MiMi JoJo's
We voyaged far far away in the Starship Acadia on a 13 hour drive right outside of Washington, DC so the boys could see their MiMi JoJo and meet their Great Grandma Jackie. The boys were Amazing!!! The weather was horrid on the way up rain from the Nashville all the way to my moms - ugh. Poor Ryan did all of the driving like a champ and did not complain once. Thankfully a friend of mine let us borrow a DVD player and that made the trip more bearable on the boys. The boys LOVED being at a hotel but when a little stir crazy after being in the car that long, it was like Beavis and Butthead go to DC -they were destroying the place, we had to unplug the phones and the radio just so we would not get kicked out. The two days we visited were great, I got to visit with my mom and an old friend on the first day and the see my aunt and cousins at a picnic my mom had at a local park. The park had a "beach" on the Potomac and it was perfect weather - the boys had a blast. The pics are cute but the VIDEO below is hillarious.

Hello Sun!
Yay - the sun is back and spring is getting close. We have been venturing out and loving every second of it. Here are a few pics of our latest outings in the front yard as well Buck's trip to the Memphis Botanical Gardens, they have an excellent area for children called My Big Backyard, it is incredible and worth every penny of the 5 dollar admission.
